Sunday morning...finishing dinner from the night before... the only thing missing were cocktails!
We had decided we were going to enjoy seeing things we hadn't seen before so we decided to go to the Zoo!
Puerto Vallarta ZOO from Star Productions DJs on Vimeo.
About 20 minutes south from our hotel is this long, not very well tended road...which dead ends to the zoo! 10.00 per person...but one of the best zoo's i have ever been to! You get to feed the Animals!!! You can buy a bag full of carrots, bread, peanuts and birdseed.
We had so much fun seeing the animals big and small...here's a link to the Zoo for more information.

After about 2 hours at the Zoo...we walked down the long and windy rock road and found a private tequilla maker...family business for like 30 years. We were the only ones there and we got a tour and tasting! did you know that it tkaes 7 years for a tequila plant to be ready for harvest? Yup! They us the inside of the plant to cook, then squeeze the sugar from the root...then cook the sugar till it steams then drips into a large glass container...into distilling...then into the bottle. we had about 8 shots there...then staggered down the road to pick up the bus to mismaloya beach.
we remember mismaloya...it was a clean little town...now...not so clean...still little though...we bought sandals for me...which i wore with black socks...very fashionable!
being that it was sunday...and there was football on...somewhere in PV we ventured into town. Found toritos sports bar and met some folks we had to sit with cause the place was packed! Watched the NINNERS WIN! and as an extra added bonus...the SEAHAWKS LOST!!!! AH what a great ending. Lots of cerveza's later we got on the bus and headed home...our early dinner at the bar included nacho's and shrimp...with coconut....YUM. Crashed early since our day before was hectic with travel and we were a bit burn't from heat and drinky drinks!
Nitey night!
